- Pasta: I used farfalle (bow tie) pasta, but you can use any kind you like

- Cooking basics: olive oil, white cooking wine (or a dry white wine), Dijon mustard, flour, heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
- Garlic: You’ll need 2 cloves but you can always throw in another for good measure if you’re a garlic lover
- Veggies: You’ll need fresh mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, and fresh spinach (baby spinach works well)

How to Cook Chicken Sausage
This is one of the easiest sausage pasta recipes for dinner because it comes together so quickly. Here are the steps:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Slice sausages into rounds.
- Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat and when heated add sausage and mushrooms. Let brown, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes.
- Add garlic and let cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add white wine, Dijon mustard and flour. Stir until reduced by about half.
- Add the heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes and lemon juice. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add spinach and basil. Let cook for a minute or so until it wilts.
- Add cooked pasta to pan and stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and add cheese. Stir until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with additional basil and Parmesan.

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb farfalle (bow tie) pasta (or pasta of choice)
- 12 oz package al fresco Pasta Night Mild Italian Style Chicken Sausage
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 cups mushrooms sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine (or a dry white wine)
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp flour
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil), drained
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup spinach loosely packed
- 2 tbsp basil chopped, plus extra for garnish
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp parmesan cheese shredded, plus extra for garnish
- salt and pepper to taste
