A flavorful sandwich for your Thanksgiving leftovers using turkey, cranberry sauce, arugula, and a blue cheese spread on Cranberry Jenny Lee Swirl Bread.

  • 8 slices Jenny Lee Swirl Bread, Cranberry Flavor
  • 1 lb turkey breast slices (from deli or leftover from Thanksgiving)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (from a can or leftover from Thanksgiving)
  • 1 onion, sliced into thin rings
  • 2 cups arugula

For Blue Cheese Spread

  • 3 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp mayonaisse
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder


  • Caramelize the onions: Coat the bottom of a skillet with olive oil. Let heat over medium-high. Add onions and cook, stirring often so the onions don't burn. Cook until brown. 
  • Make blue cheese spread: Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined.
  • Assemble sandwiches: On bread slices, add cranberry sauce to one piece, and blue cheese spread to the other. In between bread slices add turkey, caramelized onions, and arugula.


Double as needed for more guests!
