Ingredients
For the Fried Okra

okra, tops and ends removed, cut into bite-sized pieces

seafood breader (add some salt and pepper)

cup
buttermilk
vegetable oil, for frying, about an inch
For the Comeback Sauce

cup
mayonnaise
3/4
cup
ketchup

tsp
worcestershire sauce

tsp
seasoned salt

tsp
pepper
1/2
tsp
garlic powder
1/2
tsp
apple cider or white vinegar
dash
hot sauce
splash
dill pickle juice (optional)
Instructions
For the Fried Okra
Remove tops and ends of okra and chop into bite-sized pieces
Add buttermilk to a large bowl
Add seafood breader (add some salt and pepper) to a large bowl
Dip a few okra into the buttermilk and then dredge in the seafood mixture and coat well in both bowls
Heat oil in a skillet on medium-high heat using about an inch of oil
Add okra in batches, turning once during frying
Once golden on both sides remove (using a metal spoon) to a plate lined with paper towels to drain
Sprinkle with salt before serving
For the Comeback Sauce
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
